Data we store

Your deployment stores account details, workouts, plans, races, wellness entries, gear and preferences in its own SQLite databases. The deployment operator controls this server and its backups.

intervals.icu connection

If you connect intervals.icu, Training Journal receives an OAuth access token and basic athlete identity from intervals.icu. The token is stored only on the server and is excluded from journal exports. Training Journal uses it only to create or update activities you explicitly send.

Sharing

Training Journal does not sell personal information. Data is sent to intervals.icu only when you connect that service and use its sync feature. Your deployment operator may have access to server files and backups.

Retention and deletion

Disconnecting intervals.icu revokes the app connection and removes the local OAuth token. You can delete journal entries in the app. Use Settings → Data → Delete account to permanently remove your account, journal database, stored connection tokens and app-managed server backups. Downloaded exports, external snapshots and data already sent to connected services are outside this deletion; contact the deployment operator about external copies.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes. Public deployments use HTTPS. No internet service can promise absolute security, so keep the host and its backups protected.
